White Eyeliner

annasui1.jpg

White eyeliner is huge right now… A great way to wear eyeliner but still achieve a natural look is to wear black eyeliner along the top line and white eyeliner along the bottom line. Wearing white eyeliner along the bottom line doesn’t only brighten your eyes but also widens them.

Top 3 Hot Hair

cos1107lookhair017-lv.gif

The new bedhead:
Ever-polished Jennifer Aniston is killing it once again with her just-below-the-shoulder length. The look is polished, yet slightly tousled for a more laid-back, loving-life vibe. Get this look by blowing out hair and giving it a once-over with the iron. Take a thick-barrel curling iron and oh-so-loosely curl a few top sections of hair lengthwise for controlled body. Then run a little serum through to tame flyaways and add shine.

The modern bob:
Claire Danes and Drew Barrymore create an effortless-looking chic with their shoulder-skimming bobs. The look is fresh, almost schoolgirl. Preppy but casual, and great for the whole fall back-to-school/work vibe. Plus a fresh haircut is the fastest way to healthier-looking hair. The look is easy to get with just a light blow-dry to maintain body and anti-frizz serum to keep strays under control.

The Frenchy:
We loved Anne Hathaway’s ‘do in The Devil Wears Prada. And it’s mostly thanks to the French-cut bangs, which are still riding high on the trend radar this season. Get a great cut and don’t be afraid to let your hairdresser get heavy-handed with the bangs — you can always sidesweep them when they feel too heavy. Bangs look great adorned with a straighter ‘do — just blow-dry and iron, but softly flip the ends. Or keep your bangs straight and let the rest of your mane get wild by just air-drying (adding serum to wet hair first, of course) and touching up with a curling iron.

Vaseline meets Q-tips

bs_makeupforever_366.jpg

Luscious Lips:

Apply a creamy lipstick to the centre of the lips. Dip a Q-tip cotton swab into Vaseline then blend with the lipstick for a soft, sheer look.

Bombshell Brows:

Need to tame unruly eyebrows? Use a touch of Vaseline on a Q-tip to smooth them sleek and straight.

No-Time Nail Fix:

Give cuticles a quick fix of moisture with a dab of Vaseline. Apply with a Q-tip and softly work into the cuticle.

Love Those Lashes:

For a lighter lash effect, apply a touch of Vaseline to lashes with a Q-tip then use a lash curler to complete the look…. I use my Heated Eyelash Curler for this - Works so well, I usually don’t even use mascara.

Dye Defender:

Before coloring your hair, use a Q-tip to apply a line of Vaseline around the hairline to help keep dye from staining your forehead.

Heated Eyelash Curler

heated-curler.jpg

Perfect for anyone wanting bold, visible lashes. This tool is easy to use (without pinching your skin - which is a large bonus). I purchased this Heated Eyelash Curler about a month ago and I am not quite sure how I lived without it, I am for sure in LOVE! Even without mascara it makes a big difference. I do have some tips however, if you hot curl close to your lid then continuously curl all the way down your lashes your lashes will indeed curl over. Personally I just curl my lashes close to my lids and go, making my eyelashes very bold and incredibly tense. You can pick this baby up at any drugstore for around $10 - $20 inexpensive, easy to use and great results.
