White Eyeliner

annasui1.jpg

White eyeliner is huge right now… A great way to wear eyeliner but still achieve a natural look is to wear black eyeliner along the top line and white eyeliner along the bottom line. Wearing white eyeliner along the bottom line doesn’t only brighten your eyes but also widens them.

2008 Spring Dress Line Up

osd.jpg

Brrrrrr…. I am damn cold! You? Well, the best way to warm up is to start thinking of what we will be wearing come spring and summer, girls it’s not too far away. Before you know it the snow will be gone and it will be time to bare our legs once again. And by summer I will be ready to bare my legs (Optimus Prime has been the transforming DEVIL!)

So, what is hot this coming year? Glad you asked:

  • Flower Prints (Again, uhhhhYippee!)

Yes, florals will be blooming on the surface of many of springs most popular dresses. Whatever your favorite flower, you’ll find it fashionably displayed on a flirty little dress this season. From tulips to daisies and roses, there’s a flower for every woman this spring. Floral prints will run the gamut from bold and graphic to sweet and dainty with an emphasis on bolder, more outgoing floral fashions.

  • Artsy, Big Print:

Expect to see big prints with colorful, artsy patterns being worn on warm spring days. These dresses are designed to catch the eye in a flirty, feminine sort of way.

  • One Shoulder Dress:

I hate the fact that this is big again - or still - I’m not sure which one. I think it looks barbaric, another one of those fashions that only a size 2 can pull off - but usually the size 16 are wearing. It can be cute, but most of the dresses I’ve seen this style looks like part of your dress is missing. If you keep it simple you should be able to pull it off, these dresses are best without accessories.

  • Finally, Ruffles and Frills:

Ah, the inner pirate is released once again…. I mean the cute flirty, girly trend. I’m sick of ruffles and frills, I wish they would retire this style and not bring it back. But I guess, if it’s your thing, go hard! It’s your chance to ruffle it right up and don’t forget your frills. You know, I have yet to see one shirt or skirt or dress that this looks good on.

Not too fear plain Jane girls…. If you prefer a simpler dresses, spring will also feature simple shifts and shirt-dresses in a variety of printed patterns from bold to discrete. So, there is still hope for the simple dress wearers out there.
